  • Exterior walk-around for pool/screen condition and signs of vandalism
  • Confirm doors and windows are secure to reduce break-in risk
  • Check for insects or rodents
  • Inspect for water leaks, damage, mold, or mildew
  • Run water in faucets, test disposals, and flush toilets
  • Verify main water valve is off after the visit unless client requests otherwise
  • Check electrical panel for tripped breakers and confirm water heater breaker is off
  • Confirm A/C is operating and adjust thermostat/humidistat settings if needed
